San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker excuses for photo of him making ‘quenelle’ gesture with anti-Semitic connotations : worldleaks

worldleaks Parker apologizes

San Antonio Spurs guard Tony Parker is sorry for a photograph that shows him making the same gesture with anti-Semitic connotations also made by French soccer star Nicolas Anelka this weekend.

It shows Parker and a French comedian making a gesture known in France as a “quenelle,” which critics describe as inverted Nazi salute. Parker said Monday in a statement issued by the Spurs that the photograph was taken three years ago.

Parker, who is French, said he didn’t know at the time that “it could be in any way offensive or harmful.” He said he thought it was part of a comedy act.

The photo came out after Anelka made the same gesture celebrating a goal in an English Premier League game Saturday, making an outcry in France.

Hackers attack Dota 2 and League of Legends servers in quest for 1 game livestreamer : worldleaks

worldleaks livestremer

Hackers obviously went after the servers of games that are being played by a particular Twitch livestream user named PhantomLord. Every time PhantomLord tried to play games like Dota 2, League of Legends, Club Penguin, and games entertained on publisher Blizzard’s, the group known as DERP tried to take those servers down with spread denial of service attacks.

The hacks have been taking place as PhantomLord tries to play and stream the games, according to reports on Reddit and PhantomL0rd’s own Twitch stream. PhantomLord’s livestream is a popular channel on Twitch, which broadcasts live game sessions to large audiences. A DDoS attack can take a game down by flooding it with traffic.

The DERP Twitter account didn’t offer an explanation for why it was attacking PhantomLord, but whenever the group tweeted that it had directed a particular online game, PhantomLord reported that his game session had been knocked out.

At the moment, his League of Legends stream seems to be back up. Speaking on his Twitch channel, PhantomLord proclaimed, “First time I have ever been hacked. Everyone is trying to talk to me.”

Right now, the stream is drawing more than 118,000 viewers. Apparently, being hacked is still good for his traffic. A spokesman for Twitch said that the incident was isolated and wasn’t due to any security breach with Twitch.

Peyton mark under review : worldleaks

worldleaks Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning’s stat line from the Denver Broncos’ 34-14 win Sunday over the Oakland Raiders was 25-of-28 passing for 266 yards and four touchdowns. The four TD passes gave him 55 for the season, contributing his record total to five more than Tom Brady’s former mark. The yardage total gave Manning 5,477 — one more than Drew Brees’ 2011 record.

The league’s record-keepers were taking another look at things Monday, as is customary each week in the season. At issue, according to sources, is a 7-yard completion from Manning to Eric Decker with just over a minute left in the first quarter.

Manning set the mark on the last play from scrimmage for the Broncos before halftime, a 5-yard touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas. He did not play in the second half.

In one camera angle, the pass to Decker looks like a lateral, which would make it a running play. Another angle, from above, shows Decker receiving the ball at the Broncos’ 48-yard line, with Manning slightly deeper than that.

If the play stands, Manning would keep the record. If it is finally ruled a run, he would be credited with 259 yards Sunday and 5,470 this season. The 5,470 would be the second-highest season total in league history and still easily be Manning’s career best.

In recent weeks, Manning has said the touchdown record was more significant because it represented the result of an offense scoring points as it tried to win games. Even Sunday, after he’d set the yardage record, he replied to a question about that mark with: “I don’t really have much to say about it, to tell you the truth.”

Plays are routinely looked back throughout the season by Elias Sports Bureau, which keeps the league’s statistical records, and teams are often advised in the days following games of corrections in items such as sacks or rushing and passing yardage.

Irish International and Everton star Coleman is to tie the knot with long term girlfriend Rachel Cunningham

It was a memorable day for the Donegal man as he aimed to his girlfriend of nine years fresh after scoring a prominent individual goal in the 2-1 victory over Southampton at Goodison Park yesterday.

She took to Twitter to declare the proposal.

“Special news Seamie just proposed to me after 9 years. Cant think it in so much shock and can’t stop crying! Happiest girl in the world x”.

The Donegal man has been in sensational form on the field, his strike yesterday bringing his tally to five for the season, making the full-back the highest scoring defender in the league this season and has been linked to Arsenal in recent weeks in light of his eye-catching performances.

The former Sligo Rovers man has also fixed his place in the Irish team over the past 12 months, becoming one of the most consistent players in green including a man-of-the-match performance in the draw with England in Wembley last May.
